Baby & Jello

Mister August has been teething and I have literally searched everywhere for ideas on how to help him feel better! Jello Sensory Play stuck out to me and seemed like a lot of fun.

Get a microwave safe plastic bowl or a bowl that will not melt when it gets hot. I grabbed some of August’s links and tossed them into the bottom of the bowl. Make sure your links won’t melt.

Follow the instructions on your Jello box. You will pour the mixed jello still hot into the bowl over the links. Toss in refrigerator and let it set up.

Supervise your baby. I placed the bowl on the high chair and my guy was super cautious. I had to dig a few links out for him and then he went to town. The jello breaks apart into tiny pieces as they play but, sometimes there could be a big chunk and you don’t want them to choke.

August loved this activity. He got to play and make a mess while practicing picking up items. I also think the cool Jello felt good on his gums.
